Buzzword – flash based, Online Word processor
Buzzword – Flash 9.0 Based online Word Processor.
This is a very well featured and powerful word processor, with sharing features. This is a flash based tool (needs flash 9 plug in to work) The interface is clean and easy to navigate. It has a nice mix of menus and ribbons. (see the short clip below)
Here’s a breakdown of the menus and ribbons [when expanded/inserted/included]
- Font ribbon – type, size, basic enhancements – B, I, U Colour
- Paragraph ribbon- Alignment, Line space, spacing above and below, indent
- List ribbon – Bullet and number [style, outline level, skip, new list, continue list]
- Image ribbon – Insert Image
- Table ribbon – insert table [guidelines, grid colour]
- Comment ribbon- add comment, show comment
Menus
- Insert Menu – table, image, end note, comment, header, footer, page break, line break, field
- Edit Menu – Undo, redo, cut, copy, paste, delete, find, check spelling, select all
- Document Menu – New, open, close, save, save as, print, page set up
Other Features
- Share – emails to Share person – Roles – co-author, reviewer, reader
- History – times of review, write etc
