New Rubrics - IWB usage
Juliette Major (Education Services, Catholic Education Office of Canberra and Goulburn) has written a brilliant rubric for use of Interactive Whiteboards by Teachers. The rubric covers four different areas:
- control
- interaction
- integration
- collaboration
In this rubric she has covered everything we would love to see in our use of Interactive whiteboards in the classroom. An excellent effort and well worth reading and using.

I love what she has done here for teachers, so I have had simplified it for use with students. For this rubric I would place it at the level of Applying on Bloom’s Digital Taxonomy.

What a great resource. I can see how this can help teachers make the most of their IWBs.

I agree Helen, Juliette has done a great job on this and its great that she has made it available for all to share. We have used it with our teachers at school and its a brilliant frame work.

This is a great tool and I will be using it to audit the IWB in our Languages Faculty. Thank you for sharing.
