Action against poverty through awareness
We are a global citizens in a global society where the distances are becoming smaller and smaller. The credit crunch has proven this fact as no one is untouched.
As global citizens and teachers of Global Citizens it is part of our duty to raise act on poverty and other global issues, that are now in our virtual backyard.
One of the most powerful mediums we can use is the internet. There are many resources available to us that brilliantly illustrate the plight of so many children and adults. These resources can be used to raise awareness and develop understanding. Here are my favourites:
