Updated – Bookmarking Rubric

I am currently revising Bloom’s Digital taxonomy and as part of the process I am revisiting the different rubrics that go with the activities our 21st century Learners undertake.

This is the first of the reviewed rubrics – Bookmarking which fits across two taxonomic levels Remembering and Understanding.

The rubric is available in PDF format on the Edorigami Wiki – http://edorigami.wikispaces.com/file/view/bookmarking+rubric.pdf

I have also updated the Digital taxonomy Concept map.

my next question is, how does this rubric prove useful and how has it been a valuable use of your holiday time to re-wangle it?
Are rubrics like these for practical application in your planning or are they for some other esoteric purpose that eludes me… or are they for impressing parents and school leaders?
…upon further reflection I think I can see a use for them in collaborative planning with kids and colleagues. What say you, my good man?
Oh, and a very happy new year to you n yours :-)

    Hi Dave
The reason I put these together is to provide a framework for students and teachers to work to. It helps define for the students and perhaps clarify for the teachers the level they should work towards to get best advantage out of these tools.
Sad as it may sound, I enjoy doing this and I find it is a very good form of Professional Learning.
As to impressing school leaders and parents, no that I can assure you is not a goal.
