Room design

IKEA produces a very good design tool that is free to use (its selling there products after all). This is a good tool for the Visual and Kineasthetic learners.

Its a 17MB download that allows you to design kitchens, workspaces and bedrooms. Essentially here is what you do:

  • design the room shape and size
  • Add furniture from selection
  • manipulate the objects  – rotate etc
  • Change from plan view to 3D and manipulate
