Hi Andrew,
I like the changes you’ve made.
I’m not clear about #1 and “I will not post personal information about my life, experiences, experimentation or relationships.”
Could you explain your thinking here? It’s a very broad statement and, when taken literally, would exclude so much. What if a class blog project included a gratitude post by one of the students, describing a positive experience from the day? (”Suzy helped me…” “I loved learning about…”) Or if a child wrote a digital story about their pet and wanted to post it?
Isn’t that personal information about my life and experiences?
I can imagine so much classroom working drawing from students’ lives and experiences – and connecting kids’ learning to their personal experiences strengthens that learning by showing relevance. In the past these projects would have been posted on the bulletin boards in the hallways or classrooms.
How will we handle this in the digital age? How much personal information is too much? When it makes a child identifiable and “findable”?
I look forward to your thoughts and thank you for posting such a great resource!

Many thanks for sharing this, Andrew. I’m using it to inform my AUPs for the new Northumberland Church of England Academy where I’m Director of E-Learning. So far, I’ve just tweaked it to talk about ‘inappropriate’ personal information, etc.
