NZ Blog Rankings
If you haven’t caught up with them yet, the NZ Blog rankings are out. Open Parachute Blog has completed a ranking of the New Zealand Blogs.
Edorigami (thats this blog) is ranked in the top 100. So are a number of other learning educational bloggers like:
- Derek’s Blog @ 29 – http://blog.core-ed.net/derek/
- Allanah King @ 59 – http://allanahk.edublogs.org/
- Greg Carroll @ 61 http://blog.core-ed.net/greg/
- Andrew Churches (me) @ 71 http://edorigami.edublogs.org
- Simon Evans @ 88 http://educatingthedragon.edublogs.org/
The High point I suspect for most of us is the The Prime Ministers Blog is ranked @ 75
Its also worth noting that Edublogs host 3 of these blogs and Core Education Host the other 2.

Ken Perrott, the Open Parachute person showed me how to add a sitemeter to my blog which was very nice of him. He said that many of the blogs don’t have public sitemeters that make it hard to rank them.
Not sure how a sitemeter is different from a Clustrmap but now my blog has both.
I noticed that most of the top blogs were very much political commentary ones.
I feel sorry for the other fella ranked 75th! Not.

He seems to be having a “interesting” time at the moment.
