Educational Origami

Today, we had the pleasure of hosting the ACCE study tour group as they made their way around the world to the NECC conference in Washington DC, USA.

It is a pleasure to have groups like this visit, it presents us, the visitors and hosts, with the opportunity to examine your practices, procedures and facilities. To gain a different persprective through the insightful comments and questions that come from a different view and approach. From my pers[pective, I gain as much from hosting visitors as visiting other schools.

The other aspect I love about visiting groups and visiting schools is the opportunity to go into the classrooms and the chance to talk to the students. Students are very insightful, they have a vested interest in their education and their comments and thoughts are revealing.

Teaching is about collaboration, teaching is about sharing.
