Social Media Revolution Video.

This link was sent to me the other day. It is a powerful video looking at the impact of social media. It reminds me a lot of the classics (Strange to use this term with youtube) like Prof Michael Wesch “the machine is using us” and the much copied and emulated “did you know” by Karl Fisch

The information in the video is stunning. Much of it is well know but it is portrayed in a clean, well constructed manner. This is an excellent starting point for discussions with students and staff alike.

I asked my students to summarise one aspect of this using a visual tool – comic life. Here are so me exemplars of their summary:
