Blooms Digital Taxonomy – Activity Analysis Tool v2

I have updated and modified the Activity analysis tool for Bloom’s Digital Taxonomy.

This tools analyses the taxonomic level of the learning activity, task or unit. The process is essentially similar to the Bloom’s Assessment Analysis Tool. This tool allows you to look at a simple overview of the activity or unit and provides a simple perspective on task construction. The optional extension of the tool requires you to enter the estimated time spent on each task element and then to calculate a percentage of total time spent on each taxonomic level.

Thanks for the feedback and comments about the assessment tool for Bloom’s Digital taxonomy.

I have revised the tool and included an instruction sheet for the analysis. The tool is prepared under the creative commons share and share-alike licience. Here is the pdf file of the assessment sheet.

I am preparing for a presentation and I need to find some resources on Searching and within searching Boolean Searching.

Boolify is a search site using the google Engine.

Simple drag and drop the jigsaw elements to construct the search and its “and” “or” “Not” criteria.

The search results are shown underneath the working pane. A good simple tool.

Kathy Schrock’s The Boolean machine is an interactive explanation of Boolean search logic. Simple straight forward and easy to follow:

Announcing – Bloom’s Digital Taxonomy version 3.0

I have recently updated Bloom’s Digital Taxonomy to version 3.0. This version includes starter sheets and refreshed rubrics. It is probably still a little ragged in places so I would appreciate any suggestions and corrections.

New Rubric – collaboration using online word processing tools

This is a new rubric which examines collaboration using online word processing tools like Adobe’s Buzzword, Google Documents or Zoho Documents.

The two aspects examined here are the technical use of the tool and the collaborative aspect of sharing and co-operation.The rubric is at the Applying level of Bloom’s Digital Taxonomy

I am currently revising Bloom’s Digital taxonomy and as part of the process I am revisiting the different rubrics that go with the activities our 21st century Learners undertake.

This is the first of the reviewed rubrics – Bookmarking which fits across two taxonomic levels Remembering and Understanding.
