Skype Screensharing in 4.1 Beta

This is a neat addition to sky for windows (I know mac has had it for a while). The New skype 4.1 beta has screen sharing.

I’m working on some resources

I am developing some resources for web 2.0 tools. These are nice simple straight forward documents for teachers to glance at and say – yes I could use that and its not so frightening after all
the limitations I have placed on them are:

must be one page
must have pictures
process must be straight forward
must be simple to [...]

Imagery – image search engine

Most of us have used google images to find suitable images for product we are creating. Well here is a specialised search engine for images.

This is a neat interactive timeline for US. The closer you zoom in and out more detail you get on the line itself. As you click on the starts a windows comes up with the event and details about it. Often this will include a image or media.

This is a flash based interactive tour of the universe. Its got nice images and a good level of interactivity. The music becomes annoying after a few minutes but its easy to switch off.
